Your safety and confidentiality is of upmost importance to me, in order for you to build a level of trust with me so that you feel safe to explore issues that are affecting you.
I offer a safe, warm environment in an office in the centre of Burnley. This office is in a shared building but away from distractions and noises.
I follow the BACP ethical framework around confidentiality and can assure you that what we discuss will remain confidential (unless a disclosure has been made that I legally have to act upon that will be mentioned in the initial session together). I follow the GDPR and ICO rules about storage of information and my notes are identifiable by a unique code known only to myself. Discussions with my clinical supervisor will NOT identify you.
Any notes are kept in a locked filing cabinet, the key is removed and kept in a locked tin in a locked cupboard. Behind my locked office doors.
The office has a pay and display car park to the rear.
